That’s when Smith sprang into action.

The bus driver, identified by a parent on Facebook as Reneita Smith, was able to get all the students off with no injuries reported. But, the driver, Reneita Smith, managed the catastrophe with finesse, and is now considered a local heroine. “When that was going on, I ran back onto the bus to make sure there was no children on the bus”, she said.
Were it not for Smith’s fearlessness or her bravery.
He also posted photos of both Smith and the charred (but safely extinguished) bus. “I’m their mom until I drop them off to their biological mom”.
“The bus caught fire on 51 ave near Hollywood Road about an hour ago”, Mr Kabir added. “Without [Smith], the school children couldn’t be actually saved. She went inside for the very last time”.
Smith said that she is protective of the children who ride her bus, as a mother of a 4-year-old child herself. She took her seatbelt off, jumped out of her seat, and started to get all the children off the bus.
I didn’t see other people’s children. But apparently for Reneita, she was just doing what she had to do. Instead, it makes her an everyday hero.
