He said by mentioning Balochistan, the Indian Prime Minister has tried to deflect attention from what is happening in Occupied Kashmir. Make people yours too.
Omar said Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh had been blaming Pakistan for the unrest.
“The fate of the government will be decided in people’s court later”, he said.
In a statement issued to news agency from London, Dr Farooq Abdullah alleged that Bhartiya Janata Party wants to revoke Article 370 so that it could change the Muslim demography of the state of Jammu and Kashmir. On Pakistan’s role, Omar said, “While Pakistan has a habit of fishing in troubled waters, I do not think the present situation is because of it”.
“Jab apne ghar mein aag lagi ho, to bajay apne ghar mein aag bujhane ke hum dusre ke ghar mein aag lagaane ka kaam kar rhe hain”.
“Why is it that we don’t get owned, our anger doesn’t get owned, our sentiment is not owned?” “As far as dialogue (with Pakistan) is concerned, we have been votaries of dialogue for resolution”.
He said a delegation of Opposition parties will go to Delhi to press for a dialogue with all stakeholders. “This is not a battle for chairs; this is about safeguarding the future generation of Jammu and Kashmir”.
At least 70 Kashmiri civilians have been killed and thousands more injured in Indian held Kashmir in clashes with security forces after the killing of a prominent Kashmiri youth leader, Burhan Wani, in a military operation on July 8.
ON the face of it, Indian reply to the offer of dialogue on Kashmir made by Pakistan seems to be positive and encouraging but there are all indications that the response is a mere ploy to deflect attention from the pathetic situation in Occupied Kashmir and thereby release some of the pressure on Modi Government, which is persisting with its brutalities against innocent Kashmiris despite concerns expressed by Pakistan and saner members of the global community. He also asked the security forces to maintain a greater degree of restrain while dealing with protesters.

Ballia (UP): Lashing out at Pakistan, BJP MP Yogi Adityanath has said if the neighbouring country dares to fight with India, its existence would be in danger and that Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK) would soon be a part of India. The Home Minister also asked security forces to exercise restraint as much as possible.
