As Donald Trump holds off endorsing House Speaker Paul Ryan in Wisconsin’s Republican primary, his running mate enthusiastically endorsed Ryan on Wednesday, calling him a “longtime friend” and “strong conservative leader”.

Khizr Khan and his wife Ghazala Khan were the parents of Army Captain Humayun Khan, who was killed in Baghdad in 2004. “I can just tell you that from my standpoint I’m appreciative of everybody that’s served”.

Trump spokeswoman Katrina Pierson said on Fox News Tuesday that it was likely Hillary Clinton and President Barack Obama’s changing of the rules of engagement that led to Khan’s death.
In his second Sunday tweet, Trump wrote: “I was viciously attacked by Mr. Khan at the Democratic Convention. I’ve created thousands and thousands of jobs, tens of thousands of jobs, built great structures”, Trump later said.
“I recognize that they all profoundly disagree with myself or Hillary Clinton on tax policy or on certain elements of foreign policy”, Obama said of Republicans.
“I haven’t heard or read every one of the statements that’s been made”, Christie later added. “I’m just telling you how I feel”.
Khizr Khan, whose speech at the Democratic National Convention about his slain son has garnered admiration from Democrats and some Republicans, but ire from Donald Trump, says the candidate needs to have “patience and tolerance for criticism”. I would say right now it’s the best in terms of being united that it’s been since we began.
Trump’s comments come in light of concerns raised about his campaign’s logistics and about his campaign manager Paul Manafort, as relayed by CNBC’s John Harwood on Twitter.
So far, McCain, Ryan and other Republicans who have reluctantly declared that they plan to back Trump for president appear to be sticking with him.
That was not the case for Trump, a businessman from New York, Obama said.
“In recent days, Donald Trump disparaged a fallen soldier’s parents”.

Ryan initially took issue with Trump after the real estate mogul called for a complete ban on Muslim immigrants entering the country. “But I will do this”, Ryan said.
