Barack Obama shares his March Madness bracket
“Many NCAA fans gear up for the tournament before the actual games begin”.

Day one of March Madness has come and gone and there’s really only one thing the first day lacked – madness. There are too many fouls.
Zach Collins added 10 points and six rebounds, while Przemek Karnowski and Josh Perkins both scored 10 points for Bulldogs (33-1), who shot just 39.7 percent from the floor. They are capable of upsetting Villanova, but have to get through Buzz Williams (formerly of in-state rival Marquette) and Virginia Tech first. They are garbage truck juice. The Seahawks are not big, and that size difference could come back to haunt them. Especially this time of the year?
ORLANDO, Fla. – East Regional fifth-seed Virginia overcame a 15 point deficit to beat UNC Wilmington 76-71 in the NCAA Tournament First Round on Thursday. The leave-it-all-out-there mentality. The moments that literally make you crumple up that bracket and toss it in the trash can. The familiar phrase “when they win we all win” was not in my “book of logic” until years later when a mentor said it was the right mindset. A lot of history in this game.
Also, the quality of basketball only gets better as the tournament moves along. The former president is picking North Carolina to win the men’s NCAA Tournament over Duke. Four games Thursday and four games Friday will be on the Turner Broadcasting System offshoot, so you’d best figure out if you have the little-known channel. So even in this one-and-done era, having some veterans who have gone through the tournament grind once or twice seems to be invaluable to championship hopes. The college game is far from ideal, and it’s an incredibly easy target for National Basketball Association junkies to rip to shreds.
“Tournament fans are gearing up for the game by searching for snack ideas, food delivery options and new sports apparel”.
Who is the player to watch? If this was the women’s tournament bracket, it would be pretty easy to pick a victor.
Those are kids, playing like kids. The defense is what could help the Tigers win a few more games, though.
This has happened to me before, too many times, sadly. But that’s getting ahead of ourselves.
Deciding which teams to pick in your NCAA basketball pool? They all like money to be involved, billions of dollars of it, in fact. Yes, they get a free education that is at least theoretically worth something.
Bettors also are lining up on the Wolverines in their opening-round game against Oklahoma State. It’s worth mentioning again. The reward? A date with the overall No. 1 seed and defending champion on a short turnaround. Remember all those arguments over whether Kentucky could beat the Sixers?
You have North Carolina, Kentucky, and UCLA, three teams that have 24 NCAA titles combined.
What to watch: The coaching sons game.
The reason I love this tournament is the emotion that all the teams show.
Along with Obama’s bracket, the Foundation shared a quote from a US citizen (“Solomon A.”) about the nature of sport and civic duty. You’re better off giving that $20 to your mom and skipping the brackets entirely.

That being said, I am confident I will beat the 1 in 9.2 quintillion odds to have a flawless bracket this year. I have never lost sight of that even as billions of dollars are spent and it is a ratings bonanza for CBS. Something about trying to complete the impossible task of predicting every single game correctly enthralls me. Some people, including me, picked the Spartans to win the championship. (The ASPCA gets a cut.) Now, when’s the next Spurs/Warriors game?
