Fiorina frequently sparred with Trump during the primary. She crushed the more moderate candidate, Campbell, defeating him in 48 of California’s current 53 congressional districts, with an average margin of victory of more than 40 percentage points.
In his speech, Cruz said Fiorina, like himself, has endured hardship, which is a necessary quality for anyone seeking leadership.

Cruz listed the qualities he looked for in a running mate, citing the need for someone with “knowledge”, “judgment” and “character”. He wants to throw people out of the country and she threw thousands of jobs out of the country. “They are the flawless duo”.
Fiorina’s business career, however, is not without controversy: she was forced to resing amid weak earnings in 2005, and some 30,000 people had been fired during her six-year tenure. “I just don’t like to talk about it right now”, he said.

He then introduced “the next Vice President of the United States” Carly Fiorina, who walked on to Aaron Tippin’s “Where the Stars and Stripes and Eagles Fly”.
