Barbra Streisand Lets Donald Trump Have It in New North American Tour
Barbra Streisand played the Staples Center in Los Angeles last night, beginning her BARBRA: THE MUSIC…THE MEM’RIES…THE MAGIC! tour in the midst of election season. Three times, in fact.

“Streisand welcomed magician and mentalist Lior Suchard to the stage by saying: “…the only person whose mind he can’t read is Donald Trump’s, because he doesn’t have one”.
The 74-year-old is renowned for being in charge, which is admirable given she got her start in the early-’60s singing in dingy nightclubs and wearing thrift-shop clothes.
Joined by special guests including Seth MacFarlane, Kenny Edmonds amd Jamie Foxx, the evening included performances of her best and beloved songs, including People, The Way We Were, Papa, Can You Hear Me?, You Don’t Bring Me Flowers and the iconic, Don’t Rain on My Parade. The crowd ate it up.
“We have to be proactive, vote for congressmen and a president who doesn’t believe climate change is a hoax”. Once more, the crowd cheered. She’s also still as outspoken as ever when it comes to politics.
Later in the show, Babs talked about science”, – specifically a study on human DNA, which “showed that no matter what the color of your skin or where you were born… our genetic makeup is 99.9 percent identical to every other person on the face of the earth.
“The other0. 1 per cent is Donald Trump”.
Streisand also endorsed Hillary Clinton for the next president of the United States, before her rendition of “Happy Days Are Here Again”.
“She was in L.A. and I wanted to sing it with her, like 50 per cent of myself wanted to sing it with her, 50 per cent was like maybe I shouldn’t because I’d like to try and do a good job”, he shared, humbly adding that he wasn’t by any means the star of the song.

“‘Any Moment Now’ was the first song I chose for this album”, said Streisand in a behind-the-scenes video of the recording session.
