Barbra Streisand Tops The Charts – Again
The Beatles hold the top title with 19 records, while Jay Z comes in with 13. The album is an all-star collaboration, with Streisand singing Broadway hits with musical artists and celebs like Ann Hathaway, Daisy Ridley, Hugh Jackman, Alec Baldwin, Chris Pine, Antonio Banderas, and Jamie Foxx.

Today’s achievement puts her in second place among female solo artists with the most chart-topping albums in the territory, behind Madonna with 12. The 74-year-old singer’s thirty-fifth studio album has 149,000 total copies sold this week, AceShowbiz reports citing Nielsen Music.
Barbra Streisand is determined not to let anyone overtake her record for the most #1 albums from a woman.
Over on the Official Singles Chart, The Chainsmokers and Halsey’s hit Closer is looking likely to retain its number one spot for a second consecutive week after a steady climb in recent weeks. Hits projects Barbra Streisand’s “Encore: Movie Partners Sing Broadway” will fall by about 82% in consumption (to 26-29K units) and sales (to 25-28K sales).
Initial sales indicated Encore would debut at number two behind Florida Georgia Line’s Dig Your Roots, but fans surged over the weekend and drove Streisand back to the top.
And the Anonymous Nobody is also at number 1 on the Vinyl Albums Sales chart.
Twenty One Pilots occupy the same spot in the album chart, thanks to the U.S. duo’s fourth album Blurryface jumping six places to five.
