Barcelona Boss Luis Enrique Wants Spain Job

The Spaniard moved to Stamford Bridge in a deal worth around £22million in the summer, ending a ten-year association with the Catalan club.

While he opened his account in a memorable debut win at West Brom the points have been few and far between for a Chelsea side that sit in 16th spot.

Barcelona manager Luis Enrique has hinted that Pedro might be regretting his decision to leave the Spanish giants for Chelsea.

Luis Enrique, whose playing career took in both Barca and Real Madrid, was capped 62 times by Spain, appearing in three different World Cups.

“Perhaps now he might want to change that decision I don’t know”.

Barcelona head coach Luis Enrique has revealed that he is keen on managing Spain in the future.

Del Bosque is due to retire after the Euro 2016 finals and speaking at his press conference ahead of Barca’s game with Rayo Vallecano on Saturday, Enrique was asked if he was a contender for the job.

The Brazilian right-back said: “I told Pedro he should have stayed at the team but too many people got involved”. “I am sure the AFA and Gerardo Martino want the same as us, which is for Leo to recover as soon as possible, but we can not rush that by putting a date on it, even if we miss him when he’s not here”.
