Barcelona star Dani Alves suggests Pedro should not have joined Chelsea
Pedro has struggled to impress in an under-performing Chelsea side that sits in 16th place in the table, recording just one goal and a single assist in his seven Premier League appearances so far.

Chelsea attacking midfielder Pedro spent over eleven years of his life at his previous club Barcelona, and thus a break-up must have been a tough choice to make especially after getting eclipsed by the new, “shinier toys” in the squad such as Neymar and Luis Suárez.
“I told Pedro he should have stayed at the team but too many people got involved”, said Alves.
“Leaving Barça was really hard, but the truth is I’m loving the change”.
“The adaptation has been faster because I’ve been treated very well by the team, accompanying me around, showing me how the club works and how they live”, Pedro said.
Pedro started for Spain against Luxembourg in a 4-0 win, which confirmed Spain’s spot in Euro 2016. Though, he missed a few goalscoring chances and was subsequently substituted in the 77th minute.
They then play their final game against Ukraine in Kiev on Monday.
Pedro also discussed Spain’s horror show in the World Cup.

Pedro made a decision to quit boyhood club Barca after 11 years there and move to England after spending the majority of last term on the bench and Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho slotted him straight into his starting lineup. If only we could repeat the success and carry out a great tournament.
