Bastian Schweinsteiger makes a statement on Manchester United future
The Bayern boss said he couldn’t believe how United treated the German national team captain and stated his belief that their alleged mistreatment would discourage future players from coming to Old Trafford.

“But we have a decision completely made about [Paul] Pogba, [Ander] Herrera, [Morgan] Schneiderlin, [Marouane] Fellaini, [Michael] Carrick”.
The comments were made in relation to Mourinho’s decision to have Schweinsteiger train with the Manchester United U21 team instead of the club’s first team this season.
“It is very hard to happen”.
“I like Cameron Borthwick-Jackson very much but he will go to Wolverhampton to play [on loan] because I have Luke Shaw, Marcos Rojo and Daley Blind to play left-back”.
The Premier League 2 rules state that one overage goalkeeper and three overage outfield players can be part of each match squad, which is something that happened last season, and the ones before that.
Manchester United players reportedly had to warn Bastian Schweinsteiger to stop watching tennis and focus on getting fit when he was out injured last season.
Even though United have indicated that their summer transfer business is concluded, Mourinho feels his squad would benefit from a more experienced centre back such as Southampton’s Jose Fonte or a specialist right back like Fabinho at Monaco.
Discussing what course of action Schweinsteiger should take, Mourinho said: “I can not answer for him”.
Schweinsteiger said on Twitter: “MUFC will be my last club in Europe”.
“I am quite surprised that Mr Rummennigge is not here”.
Talking to the press Jose Mourinho said: “He (Schweinsteiger) has spoken to me, ‘ said Mourinho”. That is more than enough. It’s his life. It’s his career.
“That’s not a problem for us”.
“Football is made of decisions”. I can not say Marcus doesn’t play in the Premier League.
“To be honest, Bastian is not speaking a lot”.
After intense speculation that he wants to leave, the German insisted that the Old Trafford club will be the last stop in a glittering European career.

“I think we are going to have a very quiet week, ” said the Portuguese, who also revealed United midfielder Andreas Pereira is set to join Granada on loan.
