Bastian Schweinsteiger opens up about his relationship with Jose Mourinho
Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho insists he’s prepared to bench Wayne Rooney when needed. I have spoken to Mourinho and have no problem with him.

“But I was just reading the game and feeling that playing with the two strikers, Marcus and Zlatan, I needed Mkhitaryan and Rooney just inside because the full-backs were the ones playing really wide on the touchline”.
Jose Mourinho says Bastian Schweinsteiger is unlikely to feature as the competition in the squad is very high. “He knows that and he understands that and his time will come and he will get his chance for Manchester United and England”. We will have to see what happens in September.
Schweinsteiger opened the door to a possible future move to MLS, where the likes of Andrea Pirlo, David Villa and Steven Gerrard ply their trade, but noted that is not an immediate option.
“I believe in my ability”.
The teenager’s lively cameo was his first league outing under Mourinho, and the Portuguese coach was impressed with the forward after his bold play had previously helped turn the tide in the Community Shield victory over Leicester City on August 7.
“In the previous year, things went well (at Man Utd) until I was banned (from the first-team)”. But I also know what I want.
Schweinsteiger does intend to carrying on playing though, beyond Wednesday night’s worldwide between Germany and Finland.
“The MLS transfer window is closed”, the 32-year-old said. The Frenchman has started each of United’s three English Premier League games on the left side of the attack, but has failed so far to add to his 11 league goals from last season.

Meanwhile, Schweinsteiger has said he is looking forward to his final Germany match on Wednesday and admits he will miss joining up with his country.
