Batman leads gaming deals in Walmart’s Black Friday sale

Black Friday is now just two weeks away, and ahead of the shopping bonanza, yet another retailer’s lineup of deals has now emerged.

The company will offer big discounts on items such as TVs, DVDs and pajamas starting at 6 p.m. local time Thanksgiving day, but the sales will last until items are gone instead of a only using a five-day period, like past year, according to CNBC.

And shoppers seem to be more strategic, with 57% saying they will plan all their spending before going to a store or Web site, and just 19% expecting to make an unplanned purchase. Keep in mind that many stores also offer deals online.

Opens at 6 p.m. on Thanksgiving.

Wal-Mart once again is hoping to lure customers to its stores on Thanksgiving with deals on five items guaranteed to all shoppers who are in a store between 6 and 7 p.m. Those items include an LG 55-inch 4K television for $698 and an HP Touch Laptop for $249.

Walmart has not officially released the Black Friday sale flyer on its website, only on its app, in an attempt to entice shoppers to download it, but we’ve got you covered.

Wal-Mart has already begun offering a flurry of holiday deals to get shoppers to open their wallets.

If you define doorbuster deals as insanely limited stock, long lines, varied times to line up and disappointment then yes, Walmart Black Friday doorbuster deals are dead. Most stores will stay open through the night and all day Friday. Users also can browse store maps to see where Black Friday deals are located in any store and scan products in stores for reviews and the option to add the item to a shareable wish list.

Stores open early because the demand is there.

More and more retail giants have joined the hype of releasing the deals that they may offer on Black Friday. This season, about half of holiday shopping will be done online, the federation said, up from 44 percent previous year. This year Walmart is making a bigger effort to avoid the disappointment that comes with limited quantity Black Friday deals.
