Batman v Superman will provide front row seats to an epic fight when it finally hits cinemas on March 25, and it’s hard to think there will be room for anything else going on in the film other than the two heroes going toe to toe.
While it’s unknown if DC Films will put out a movie featuring Batman, Superman and Deadshot in the future, the studio has announced a Justice League movie, which will reunite Affleck and Cavill.
Although Affleck hasn’t been locked on the standalone Batman film just yet, he and Henry Cavill will team up once again to shoot Justice League in April. “I don’t know, it just depends. It’s so big and so huge and inspiring and strong, that I’m just a vessel to tell the story to the outside world”.
Speaking to US Weekly, Affleck, 43 revealed: “I ran into him at a costume shop when we were both buying costumes for our kids and we talked. I wasn’t used to that kind of workout regimen”, said Affleck.
“I secretly selfied myself without having anyone notice that as I was so secretive, and I texted it to my husband and he couldn’t believe that”, she laughed to Latino Review at the movie’s premiere on Sunday (20Mar16).
Before Warner Bros. announced the official DC movie slate in October 2014, many fans hoped that the DC Extended Universe would follow in Marvel’s footsteps by having their movie and TV shows exist in the same continuity.
“I have a 4-year-old daughter and she adores princesses at the same time she will tell me the princess is so weak, she falls asleep and the prince will come and kiss her and save her and he is the hero”, Gadot told ABC News.
“I think, give them a year or two and they’ll be completely embarrassed by me”, he joked.
“That really took my appreciation for this genre to another level”, he said of the darker genre of Miller’s Batman comics, on which the new film is loosely based.
