‘Batman v Superman’ trailer teases epic superhero carnage with a few new
From start to finish, the new trailer is nothing but the most insane and ridiculous nonsense I have ever seen, and I hope to whatever god is listening that this speaks to the entire movie.

Bruce Wayne and Clark Kent can’t get along, and neither can their superhero alter egos.
The trailer begins with mild-mannered reporter Clark Kent (Henry Cavill) conducting a somewhat hostile interview with Gotham City’s resident millionaire, Bruce Wayne (Affleck). Throughout, a jumpy, long-haired Lex Luthor (Jesse Eisenberg) delights in the antagonism between them. I know a lot of us were expecting him to be in there but you don’t have to confirm it by actually showing him in the trailer, why not save that big reveal for the movie?
Dawn of Justice isn’t just a cool title, it is the lead-in to the new franchise coming out of Warner’s DC films, Justice League. Superman asks, to which Batman replies, “I thought she was with you”.
Clearly there’s some trailer trickery at play here, but the point is this: Batman, Superman and Wonder Woman are finally fighting shoulder-to-shoulder.
While Wonder Woman doesn’t show up until the end of the trailer, she appears to save her male counterparts from a huge, rock-like creature, presumably Doomsday. However, it also looks like director Zack Snyder has just made a decision to amp the insanity up to 11 and has committed fully to that premise.

“Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice” also stars Jeremy Irons, Diane Lane, Holly Hunter, Scoot McNairy, and Laurence Fishburne and will hit theaters nationwide on March 25, 2016.
