‘Batman vs. Superman’ Deleted Scene Reveals…Jimmy Kimmel Cameo?

Ben Affleck was a guest at the 11th annual Jimmy Kimmel Live: After the Oscars special, and after discussing his upcoming film Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, Kimmel presented a “deleted scene” sketch featuring the stars of the Zack Snyder-directed film.

Matt Damon has been banned from Jimmy Kimmel’s show for the past 13 years.

“No offense. I really don’t mean to put you in an uncomfortable situation but you look – you’ve really ballooned up”, Kimmel said in response.

Jesse Eisenberg’s Lex Luthor then rocks up to congratulate Kimmel on solving the mystery, before Will Arnett’s “Lego Batman” adds an even greater layer of ludicrousness to the proceedings.

The pair’s fake feud began in 2006 when Jimmy made an off-the-cuff quip at the end of his show that Matt Damon was waiting backstage but they hadn’t got time to interview him.

The guys are longtime best friends and Matt, who is pretty much banned from appearing on the late night talk show in a running gag, used the opportunity to sneak onto the set.

Affleck and Damon also joined Kimmel to film a pretend new trailer for Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, in which the funnyman interrupted a tense scene between Affleck and his co-star Henry Cavill to point out their superhero alter egos.
