Battered Broncos ready for Chiefs test – Manning
This is the national game of the week, and will kick off Week 2. Both the Chiefs and Broncos won their Week 1 games, so this should be a great match. Last year the Chiefs were swept by the Broncos, which is not surprising considering the amount of offensive power the Broncos had prior too Manning’s decline. It’s just $25 to enter and first place will win $1 million! The offense didn’t score a touchdown, and that’s very similar to how things went in the preseason, with Manning struggling to get the team in the endzone. In addition, Albert Wilson also gave the Chiefs a nice boost in the passing game.

You have to crawl before you walk and walk before you run; Denver’s offense is still taking baby steps.
Life doesn’t get easier Thursday night against Kansas City with Justin Houston off to another dominant start.
The Denver Broncos’ normally high-powered offense struggled out of the gate in Week 1. But they’ll have to do it without odds makers on their side.
When he tried to throw to the far sideline, his passes had no zip which is why cornerback Jimmy Smith intercepted and returned one for a 24 yard touchdown in the third quarter. Seventeen plays, 10 minutes and another field goal. The Chiefs are currently listed at a -3 Spread, to a 42 over/under. Running back C.J. Anderson is questionable, and while he is expected to play, he could be looking at a time share situation with Ronnie Hillman.
This marks the first official short-week TNF game.
Betting on the home team in a nationally televised game is always a good plan.
I wrote a little rant on Jemele Hill spewing straight garbage about Manning on her crappy ESPN show with Michael Smith, and I think it’s time for people to have their mouths stuffed with a hefty helping of crow. Denver has been the force to reckon with at the top of the division, and Kansas City and San Diego want to take it away from them this season.

If the Chiefs don’t get any or many touchdown catches from Maclin, Albert Wilson or any of their other wide receivers, it doesn’t kill their chances of beating the Denver Broncos on Thursday night at Arrowhead Stadium, winning the AFC West or advancing in the playoffs.
