Like so much else in Battlefield 1, we wanted to make sure weather makes the player immersed with the world, both visually and thematically.

Since “Battlefield 1” is set to be released in October, EA and DICE also revealed that the open beta for “Battlefield 1” will commence on august 31.

EA and DICE have been pretty vague on the specifics for Battlefield 1’s Open Beta.

If you are signed up to the Battlefield Insider program (and did so before August 21) you should receive Early Access to the beta.

The Open Beta will include one map, the Sinai Desert map, which includes ground warfare, as well as dogfights above the desert.

The updated user interface comes as part of a 4GB patch, and the idea is it’ll let you switch between whatever version of Battlefield you want to play (provided you own the games in question). The pass, which will cost €49,95 in Europe, will include 4 themed expansion packs with 16 maps, new game modes, elite classes, 20 new weapons and more additional content.

The iDigital Times reported that the Design Director Lars Gustavsson said that the Sinai Desert is not the only map with fog effects, many maps in “Battlefield 1” has fog that can completely change the game and player’s tactical aspects. The open beta is planned to begin on August 31. The WCCF Tech sends out the details of the “Battlefield 1” Premium Pass.

This actually isn’t the first time we’ve heard Battlefield 1’s theme music, as it also popped up in July when the game’s alpha was released for members of the press and others.
