Battlefield 1 Multiplayer Teaser Flaunts Melee Focused Combat
Naturally, one of the biggest facets of any multiplayer shooter is the multitude of guns that players can obtain within it. According to the studio there’s a total of six classes, and they’re as follows: shotguns, SMGs, LMGs, semi autos, sidearms and sniper rifles. Instead of traditional attachments, each can be customised with up to three pre-set loadouts.

In a weapons Q&A on the Battlefield 1 site, Julian Schimek said the weapons in DICE’s new game are “a bit more specialized” than in previous Battlefield games.
These weapons will be also customizable and in addition to firearms, there will be plenty of melee weapons, tools and grenades.
Battlefield 1 is the latest entry in the Battlefield franchise that takes the series back to World War 1.
Interestingly, one of the biggest changes will come to sniper rifles and the role of those who use them. Because of this, Battlefield 1 will feature a bunch of different melee weapons, each with their own attack speed and damage stats.
Reactions to EA’s Battlefield 1 are certainly a stark contrast to Activision’s Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare.
The short teaser trailer was released ahead of EA’s E3 EA Play event, at which an all-new Battlefield 1 trailer will be shown off.
