PEP GUARDIOLA WILL leave Bayern Munich at the end of the current campaign, with Carlo Ancelotti taking over at the Bundesliga giants.

Ex-Chelsea boss Ancelotti, 56, has been on a break since being sacked by Real Madrid in May 2015 and has signed a three-year deal with Bayern.
Chairman Karl-Heinz Rummenigge says the Spaniard has opted to leave the Allianz Arena in June 2016, with a move to Manchester City most likely.
“We are grateful for everything Guardiola has done for the club and hope we will have a lot of success together in the current season”.
“Carlo Ancelotti has enjoyed success everywhere as a coach and has won the Champions League three time. We look forward to working with him”.
If Ancelotti wins the Bundesliga with Bayern next season, he will become the second coach to have won league titles in four of Europe’s top six leagues. In the Champions League, the end comes again in the semifinals – Barcelona wins 3-0 at home and Bayern is eliminated by Guardiola’s former team despite a 3-2 win in Germany.
London, Dec.20: Manuel Pellegrini has admitted that he wants to see Pep Guardiola take charge of Manchester City one day, saying that the most coveted coach in football can turn out to be important for the club. “I’ve taken on three jobs during a season, with Juve, Milan and PSG, and they all turned out to be negative”.
There continues to be much speculation about Guardiola’s future, with Hitzfeld earlier in the week suggesting he would join Manchester City in the summer.
City owner Sheikh Mansour has long coveted Guardiola and has employed Ferran Soriano and Txiki Begiristain, both of whom worked with the Catalan during his richly successful tenure as Barcelona coach.
“It’s an honour for me to be a part of this great club next season”, he added. Bayern is leading the Bundesliga by eight points at the halfway stage of the season.

And recurrent injury problems have led to issues between Guardiola and Bayern’s medical staff. Kicker magazine reported Thursday that the coach blamed team doctor Volker Braun for the latest injury to afflict Franck Ribery.
