Bayern deny Lewandowski joining Madrid
“He knows how to score goals even when there isn’t an opportunity”.

The last of these meetings took place in Madrid during the week when Bayern Munich travelled to the Spanish capital to face Atletico Madrid in the Champions League semi-finals.
Munich wouldn’t appear willing to do business with Real Madrid over Robert Lewandowski (at any price) but would they be his teammate Alaba.
However, Bayern technical director Michael Reschke was unequivocal when asked by Radio CRC about the striker.
BAYERN Munich have turned down a stunning £38million offer from Real Madrid for David Alaba, according to reports in Spain. “That is why there is no chance he will be sold”. One name linked to Bayern as a potential replacement for Lewandowski was Napoli’s Gonzalo Higuain. This saw him make history by scoring the most goals in a season beating Milan’s Gunnar Nordahl, who previously scored 35 goals back in the 1949-50 season.
“It is therefore pointless to sign another forward, for us and the players”.

The 27-year-old Poland star, who is preparing for the European Championship in France, was a central figure for the Bavarian giants as they secured a domestic double under Pep Guardiola. Only time will tell if Bayern can remain strong and keep hold of one of their prized assets.
