Bayern Munich coach Guardiola wants Man Utd move over Man City
Manuel Pellegrini said he has enough faith in his own ability to dismiss constant speculation that Pep Guardiola is being lined up to replace him. With a pay off clause of £7 million going into his final season at the club next year, it is not inconceivable that the board might like to bring in another coach to get Manchester United back to winning ways. Sir Alex Ferguson disclosed in his most recent book that he made an informal approach to Guardiola over dinner in NY in the September of his last season, 2012-2013.

He said the club would not fall apart if Guardiola left. Guardiola’s contract will expire next summer, and Manchester United could have an opportunity to secure the services of one of world soccer’s leading coaches.
