BCCI holds meeting with stakeholders to discuss road map
India’s Test captain Virat Kohli along with his limited overs counterpart Mahendra Singh Dhoni had a lengthy meeting with chief coach Anil Kumble and “A” team coach Rahul Dravid to chalk out a roadmap for Indian cricket for the 2016-17 season.

Anil Kumble, the newly-appointed coach of the Indian cricket team, was seen practicing with the players on the fifth day of their training camp in Bengaluru today.
India will play four Tests in the Caribbean. “I am thankful to the BCCI for organizing such an initiative”, Kumble said of the meeting where various issues – from domestic cricket setup and India A tours to workload & injury management and bench strength – were discussed. National Cricket Academy bating coach WV Raman, bowling coach Narenra Hirwani, physio Andrew Leipus and BCCI Cricket Operations head MV Sridhar also attended the meeting.
BCCI released a picture of the Indian team members enjoying a musical session with Vasundhara, who has also acted in critically acclaimed films like “Hey Ram” (with Kamal Hassan) and Mira Nair’s “Monsoon Wedding”. He has usually come and replaced players who have been out of form. “I feel that is a very important thing”, Dhawan said in Bengaluru on Saturday.
“Based on their discussions and recommendations, BCCI will plan the future accordingly”.
Dhawan said India stands a good chance to win the series against the West Indies as the World T20 champions are in a transition period as far as longer format is concerned but have been really good in shorter format.
“When we have trouble or any queries and we need to ask, we can go up to him, and it is a wonderful set-up”.

“Only a few [players] have played in West Indies but we have the experience. It just happened, but it doesn’t look too serious”, said Kumble.
