The Chicago Bears look to continue their recent surge as they head into Green Bay to battle the Packers in what should be a physical game between two bitter rivals.

This is going to be their final meeting during the regular season as they have already clashed in week 1, with the Packers going on to win 31-23.
“When I was in Oakland, it’s like I wasn’t really there”, he said.
“But this is obviously a very special, special time in the Green Bay Packers history…”
On one night, above all, we all felt his pain: Less than three weeks before Favre and I met in that ballroom, he’d played a Monday Night Football game in Oakland that captivated millions of choked-up viewers.
The Green Bay Packers host the Chicago Bears tonight in an NFC North showdown. Martellus Bennett has officially been ruled out and there’s talk that Alshon Jeffery, Eddie Royal and Matt Forte could all be game-time decisions. Favre made a triumphant return to Lambeau in July, when the Packers held ceremonies to induct him into the team’s Hall of Fame, and to retire his jersey.
We’ll be back throughout the day with more updates… The Packers have 16 players on their injury report, though Rodgers did drop off the report after a one-week appearance for a sore right shoulder.
One of the biggest issues for Jay Cutler against the Packers has been throwing interceptions late in the game. “They know it’s a no-huddle operation, so they’ve been out there with it and seen their offense live, which is better than trying to practice against it. I think maybe they have a better appreciation for the challenge ahead”.
It seems the focus is always on the Bears offense when it comes to starting fast, but the defense is looking to do the same, particularly against the Packers.

The Packers will be playing in a much-needed contest for their NFC North hopes, as they own just a tiebreaker lead on the Minnesota Vikings after Sunday’s win in Minneapolis. In the Bears’ last 42 games dating to the 2013 season, they’re allowed the opponent to score first a startling 29 times. “I have tremendous respect for him as a player and a person”. Chicago coach John Fox and his staff have correctly established a mindset where backing down is no option, so I expect a tough game. Turns out he can play, too. So disciplined play is required, especially on special teams. And when I let it go, he ran a ideal post.
