Beatles music will be available for streaming, starting Christmas Eve
Popular music band “The Beatles” will see its songs feature across streaming music services starting this Thursday, Christmas Eve, Re/code reported, citing sources familiar with the plans.

The Beatles’ music has never been available for streaming until now and includes 13 studio albums as well as other collections such as 1 and Past Masters.
The Beatles songs online streaming was initially cancelled from a partnership with Apple because the band was concerned that it may depreciate the value of their songs and may also lead to piracy.
The Beatles’ decision to join the streaming services comes at a time when Adele, Taylor Swift, and Coldplay stayed away from free music streaming. Their music wasn’t available on the iTunes Store until 2010, after years of feuding over trademark conflicts.
John Lennon, Paul McCartney, George Harrison and Ringo Starr accumulated 17 number one singles in the United Kingdom charts as the Beatles.
The band’s tracks will be available on nine different streaming services, including Apple Music, Spotify, Tidal and Google Play Music.
So here’s hoping The Beatles make a big enough splash to kick Justin Bieber off the top of Spotify’s global chart. The Beatles are finally releasing their music to the masses.
Nielsen analyst Dave Bakula said that the Beatles’ streaming arrival could help sales by turning people on to the band for the first time.
To celebrate the news, Google offered up a list of the most searched Beatles albums and lyrics.
Swift famously withdrew her entire back catalogue from Spotify in 2014, saying: “Music is art, and art is important and rare”.

Internet music streaming leader Pandora announced on Tuesday that it had reached multiyear licensing deals with BMI and ASCAP, two major trade groups that between them own the music publishing rights to 20 million songs.
