Beckham backs Mourinho to recapture glory days at United
When asked about his former club during a recent interview, Paul said that United was “his first family” and that if current manager Jose Mourinho came calling for him, He would “see what he wanted”.

United have already clinched the signings of Eric Bailly, Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Henrikh Mkhitaryan, and Mourinho confirmed a story in May that he wanted to strengthen four positions during his maiden press conference last week.
Indeed, L’Equipe have even gone as far as claiming that the deal for Pogba has been rubber-stamped after Juventus accepted United’s second offer for the 23-year-old: a knee-trembling £100million (plus another £8million in performance-related bonuses).
“This is not a selling club that just lets its player go”. In Juventus, Pogba earns 4.5 million euros ($4.95 million) per season, which rises to six million euros ($6.60 million) in bonuses and increases year-on-year.
“I don’t confirm, I don’t deny, I can not tell you”, Mourinho said when asked whether Pogba is on his way to United. One’s a world-renowned star instantly recognisable for his outlandish hairstyle, and the other plays in midfield for Juventus. “I don’t know where I want to go”.
“Saying that we need another two or three players is unfair, especially as I don’t want to talk about transfers, but the club is working well and knows we need alternatives”.
“We just have 25 per cent to do before the 31st of August, so we are in great conditions to have what I would consider a good market for us”.
The Juventus star is now on holiday after his exploits at Euro 2016, but will be expected to return to pre-season training in the coming weeks.
“I’m really confident Mr Woodward (United executive vice-chairman) and the owners can get the profile of the player I think the squad needs”. He was out one match before the English guys.

Rumours that the French global could head to United for a Premier League record fee of £100 million ($133 million) have reached fever-pitch in the last month, with United’s new manager Jose Mourinho on a spending spree in preparation for the new season.
