Beckham Hopes Mourinho Will Make Swift Premier League Return
Mourinho was sacked by the club on Thursday afternoon after club officials met to discuss his future following the 2-1 defeat to Leicester City on Monday.

Aguero’s return would be timely for City boss Manuel Pellegrini, who once again had to endure speculation this week that Bayern Munich manager Pep Guardiola is being lined up to replace him at the end of the season.
Chelsea released a glowing statement on Mourinho’s departure, only for technical director Emenalo to temper that sentiment.
Chelsea are reported to be eyeing Italy’s Antonio Conte and Atletico Madrid boss Diego Simeone as potential long-term replacements for Mourinho, but, in the meantime, Hiddink is seemingly lined up for his second caretaker spell at the club.
The 69-year-old guided Chelsea to the 2009 FA Cup in a short-term deal, and is now primed to reprise that role.
The former Real Madrid boss had been tipped to coach PSG in the past, although the French club have long since cooled their interest due to both Laurent Blanc’s success and concerns over Mourinho’s relationship with his players and his style of play.
After several weeks of speculation, Jose Mourinho has been sacked by Chelsea after a meeting with the club’s hierarchy Thursday.
“I want to get some good insight before I make my decision”, said Hiddink. “I would even say they are one of the favourites for the Champions League”.
“Anyone who loves the club, who has any kind of affiliation to the club, can understand that this club is in trouble, and something needed to be done”.
“Mourinho has suffered a turbulent campaign amid widespread reports of unrest in the Chelsea dressing room”.

Now Emenalo has further backed Chelsea’s players, insisting none of the Stamford Bridge squad had any part to play in Mourinho’s exit.
