Behind Chris Christie’s Misleading Claim That Obama Is Allowing ‘Lawlessness’
“We as a country put him in charge of the largest, most complex government the world has ever known, and we wonder why things aren’t working the right way”.

And in Thursday night’s GOP debate, he claimed that Obama’s scrutiny of the police, the existence of sanctuary cities, and the decriminalization of marijuana in some US states are all products of that lawlessness. “When I am president of the United States, we are not appointing justices like that to the Supreme Court”. “The fact is, I praise her courage for saying what she believes …” “Qualified appointees should be confirmed and deserve bi-partisan support”.
Even though New Jersey Governor Chris Christie had decided that the Common Core standards were not working for students in the state, a committee appointed to review them decided that 84 percent of the standards are good.
Christie’s campaign responded Friday with an excerpt of a Christie interview on Friday morning on MSNBC’s “Morning Joe” program. “I said she was not the type of justice I would recommend”.
“When you’re a senator, what you get to do is just talk and talk”.
He then said that Christie “wrote a check to Planned Parenthood”. He made a number of factual statements about Christie from which the governor will have difficulty escaping: “Unfortunately, Gov. Christie has endorsed numerous ideas that Barack Obama supports, whether it is Common Core or gun control or the appointment of Sonia Sotomayor or the donation he made to Planned Parenthood”. “All while Sen. Rubio was skipping work and failing to make one single consequential decision”. “If you look at my record as governor of New Jersey, I have vetoed a 50-caliber rifle ban”, Christie shot back. If an untested candidate makes it to that stage, Christie said, Clinton will “eat you alive”.
“The knives have been out for me the last three weeks”, he said.
Christie has seen his stock rise in New Hampshire as people search for an alternative to Donald Trump, who continues to dominate preference polls in the first primary state, which votes February 9.
