Behind-the-Scenes Video for Assassin’s Creed’s Leap of Faith Stunt
Entertainment Weekly has given fans a closer look at the props that will be making their way to the big screen, and the details look incredible. The good news is that we still have the Assassin’s Creed movie which has been set for a release later this year in December, meaning that the video game movie genre has another shot at redeeming itself. We actually get to use some of the real game weapons in there.

“Although we’re designing the weapons ourselves”, Wildgoose said, “there are certain things you have to stick to – the way the wrist blades work”. Fans of the countless number of Assassin’s Creed games should be happy, as the film seems to be in good hands. Before you go getting excited, it was basically confirmed there would be no Altair or Ezio (why would there be, that makes too much sense) but there will be “very famous” characters fans will enjoy in the film. But the video game movie still needs, for lack of a better term, a game changer for the genre.
Warcraft was the most successful video game movie of all time, and a sequel sounds like it may come together despite a disappointing box office performance in the United States. Other games are slated to get their own movie soon are “Tomb Raider”, “Life is unusual”, and “Mortal Kombat”.

That is exactly the stunt that they recreated for the Assassin’s Creed movie where the stunt man, Damien Walters, jumped a staggering 125 feet into an inflatable platform to cushion his fall.
