Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif said that the country has started to grow its economy and is moving towards prosperity.

Sharif highlighted the key areas of his government’s focus.
PM Nawaz was addressing during inaugurating the two day Pakistan Investment Conference in Islamabad on Wednesday, where he said the entrepreneurs and businessmen to take benefits of the business and investor supportive strategies of the government.
“The policies revolve around five objectives; eliminating extremism and terrorism, economic development, ensuring continuous supply of energy and providing improved education and healthcare facilities to the people of Pakistan”, the prime minister reiterated. He, however, added that a few hard decisions were also being taken in the best interests of the people and country. He said 25 industrial zones would be established along the three routes of the China Pakistan Economic Corridor and pointed that China was investing U.S. 46 billion in various sectors of the country.
“Several important agreements and MoUs are also expected to be signed during this visit which will help strengthen the existing ties between the two countries”, the Foreign Office Spokesman Qazi Khalilullah said earlier in a statement.
Further referring to current anti-terror operation, Sharif said, “The operation has yielded positive results and that the government will no longer allow terrorists to affect the fabric of our society”.
He said Pakistani nation was forward looking and enterprising and would soon attain a higher place in the comity of nations. “Projects like Turkmenistan, Afghanistan, Pakistan and India (TAPI) gas pipeline project and CASA 1000 will also bring energy in the system and promote regional connectivity”, he said.
