Amid the drama surrounding the heartbreaking split of Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck, another name is getting dragged into the issue: Catherine Ouzounian – the woman many reports are referring to as the third party in the divorce.
Ouzonian, 28, was hired by Garner from a top Beverly Hills agency to take care of their three children, nine-year-old Violet, six-year-old Seraphina, and three-year-old Samuel.
The reports vary on when she was let go, but the same sources say that Jen found out about the relationship when she was in the Bahamas with the kids, and was “livid”. Online: “This story is full of lies”.
While Ben Affleck’s rep says the nanny dating story is garbage, a friend of Ouzounian describes the relationship as “true love”.
“They would hang out without the kids and they were very flirty”, said a friend of Ouzounian. “You shouldn’t be able to hide behind “blind sources” and attempt to destroy families going through a hard time”, the rep said. It’s like story time in kindergarten.
Things reportedly started heating up between the “Gone Girl” actor and his mistress in the midst of a 10-month separation from Garner, according to Us Weekly.

“She says Ben really, really likes her. She’s saying this is true love”, said her friend. Back in April, the celebrity news outlet was on the other side when (then) Bruce Jenner told the magazine he was considering suing several media outlets who published a picture of him wearing a dress outside his home. Ouzounian only worked with the family for a short time, but it was enough for speculation to develop that the two had had an affair. However, a source told PEOPLE that the ex-couple just did it to help their children cope with the divorce.
