Ben Affleck Teases “Batman” Movie Villain
The video wasn’t accompanied by any caption, so Affleck is clearly intending to let fans speculate on what it could mean for the DC Comics cinematic universe.

The video shows Deathstroke in what looks like to be Batman’s Flying Fox with a auto, probably the Batmobile, in the background, as he slowly approaches the camera.
“Batman V Superman” and ‘Justice League star Ben Affleck has surprised DC fans by revealing a rather awesome behind-the-scenes video of Deathstroke in his full costume.
In short, everyone’s a bit confused, but very, very excited.
However, the Deathstroke footage is at this stage thought to be connected to Justice League, which had started filming in April 2016 and is set for theatrical release in November 2017. On TV, Deathstroke’s been a lot more active, with Manu Bennett playing the character on more than 30 episodes of Arrow.
Are you excited to see Deathstroke being added to the DCEU?
Innerestingly, Joe Manganiello was rumored to have met with Suicide Squad director David Ayer for a cameo as the character.
My favorite piece of Deathstroke trivia: The character was introduced in 1980 in the pages of the book New Teen Titans as “The Terminator”. He’s been a villain that’s been all over the DC Universe and he’s gone toe-to-toe with Batman, Green Arrow, Black Canary, Flash, Green Lantern, and more.

The Wrap’s Umberto Gonzalez allegedly learned “from an individual with knowledge of the situation” that Deathstroke is the arch-villain of Batman’s next solo film. If it’s a screen test for the solo Batman movie, it’s an interesting choice for Batfleck’s first onscreen villain what with The Joker, Harley Quinn, Deadshot, and Killer Croc now established.
