Ben Carson and West Point
Republican presidential candidate Ben Carson stated Thurs.in that blocking potential terrorists posing as Syrian refugees from getting in to the U.S.is akin to dealing with a rabid pooch.

In the wake of last week’s terror attacks in Paris – among other missteps on worldwide issues – Ben Carson’s status as a leading presidential candidate is in jeopardy as reports that the retired neurosurgeon has failed to articulate coherent foreign policy or show knowledge on the issues. For instance, you know, if there’s a rabid dog running around your neighborhood, you’re probably not gonna assume something good about that dog.
Carson also said that the United States should declare war on the extremist group Islamic State and needs public debate of the vetting process for Syrian refugees.
Dozens of Democrats joined majority Republicans in the House to pass the measure on Thursday.
Williams similarly downplayed the role that Clarridge, who is allegedly unpaid, has in Carson’s campaign, saying they’ve met in person a couple of times and that Carson speaks to another 13-14 advisers.
To better understand America in the age of Obama, Carson suggested that people read Mein Kampf, Adolph Hitler’s notorious autobiography.
Despite being an African American himself, Carson has managed to alienate many in the black community. And you are probably going to get your children out of the way. “It is our duty to take care of each other, but it is not the government’s duty to take care of everybody”, said Carson.
Supporters who came out say they like Carson, because he is not a politician.
Armstrong Williams, Carson’s longtime business manager, “has nothing to do with my campaign”, Carson said.
He added, “I’m not a politician”.
In making his comments, Carson pushed back against criticism that he doesn’t have a strong understanding of foreign policy.
Another story which Carson has touted in books, interviews, and speeches alike is the offering of a scholarship to the prestigious United States Military Academy at West Point.

But no amount of umbrage aimed at the press can hide the fact that Carson is stupendously unqualified, although this may not matter to a Republican base seeking a right-wing messiah rather than a genuine political leader.
