I know the President of Yale and he’s a very, very reasonable person.
“All of the political professionals were saying, ‘Carson run for president, are you kidding me?”
But the West Point story is not the only one that has surfaced.

“My advice would be Proverbs 3:5” Carson, who is a Seventh-Day Adventist, said in response to a question he received about advice to college students.

At Liberty University, many student cited Carson’s overt faith as a reason behind the intense scrutiny he’s now receiving as a frontrunner.
Carson, a retired neurosurgeon who’s surpassed Trump as the GOP front-runner both nationally and in key early primary states, was scheduled to speak at the same gathering of Florida Republicans immediately after Trump. If you’re undecided but otherwise set on backing a superhawk, at least choose the superhawk who can defend his position fluently, in great detail. “That’s slowly fading away…. If he thought it was fair I think is must be pretty fair”. He reprised his oft-repeated mockery of the established conclusions of evolutionary biology.
But it’s a boost his campaign will need as his rising poll numbers make him more a more attractive target to his Republican competitors and critics alike.

He asked students to pray for “wisdom” for his family and “for the eyes of the nation to be opened to what’s going on”. Carson, calling the dentist his “very best friend” asked the judge to be lenient in sentencing him.
