Ben Carson Speaks Out On Syrian Refugees And Planned Parenthood Shooting
Like most Republicans, Carson doesn’t want Syrian refugees flocking to America. From his perspective, it would be hard to figure out who was a true refugee and who was a terrorist looking for a way in. According to the Times, Carson’s advisers said his trip to Jordan was part of an effort to enhance his understanding of the refugee crisis. Instead, Carson said other Middle Eastern countries in the region should help shelter Syrian refugees because it would not be so much of a culture shock for them.

Carson’s convoy rolled onto the Azraq refugee camp along a highway with heightened security, with each vehicle being stopped and searched at a police checkpoint. “Recognize that in these camps they have schools, they have recreational facilities that are really quite nice”, Carson added in a statement to CNN.
“So what more can they be doing?” she wondered. “Would it be better to integrate them into society?”
A $4.5-billion appeal to aid refugees in host countries in 2015 is only about half funded. Denied the ability to legally work, and United Nations donors failing to provide, hundreds of thousands of refugees have chosen to make the risky trip to Europe, with more than 3,400 this year drowning along the way, 400 in October alone. And of course wave all heard about the difficulties there but to be able to talk to the ranchers we have been terrorized to be able to talk to the sheriffs and sheriff deputies who put their lives on the line just to have (inaudible) come tell them you have to release these people. “If everybody could focus more attention on them and do everything that we can, including exclude their ability to move money, remove their ability to receive revenues from oil, take away the caliphate that they’ve established, and actually make sure that we eliminate any safe havens for them, I think a lot of the problems would be resolved, quite frankly”. “They want to go back home”, Carson said Sunday on ABC’s “This Week”, live from Amman, the Jordanian capital.
Ben Carson said Sunday that most Syrian refugees would rather be relocated within their own country than resettled in the United States. “They need the world’s help to feed, educate and care for these refugees until the war ends”, Carson said.
“I would use every resource available to us”, Carson said when asked how he would achieve that goal.
“[The refugees] understand here that we’re talking about the jihadists, the Islamic terrorists”.
“It’s one of the biggest areas that’s threatening to tear our country apart”, he told “This Week”.
