Ben Carson: Voters must be on guard for ‘propaganda’ in 2016
Republican presidential candidate Ben Carson has defended his belief in the Bible at the school founded by the Rev. Jerry Falwell.

While this is nothing new to presidential elections, Carson seems wholly intent on deflecting any line of questioning.
Asked if he thought Carson was “mentally off”, Trump said, “I hope not”.
In an interview with conservative radio host Mark Levin, Trump was challenged over his repeated citations of reporting from Politico and other news organizations that questioned whether Carson inflated or manufactured elements of his life story.
Evangelical Christians are a key part of Carson’s support. “Still, as a candidate whose brand has always been trust, are you anxious your campaign – which you’ve always said, sir, is bigger than you – is now being hurt by you?”
“We should vet all candidates”. “Where I come from, they call that a lie”.
“I don’t criticize them”.
Carson appears to have missed the nine hours during which Clinton was grilled, and after which nothing was uncovered by the Republican-led Benghazi Committee.
But, you know, when I look at somebody like Hillary Clinton who sits there and tells her daughter and a government official that, you know, this was a terrorist attack, and then tells everybody else that it was a video… The closest he came was saying, moments later, “That’s very different from, you know, somebody misinterpreting when I said that I was offered a scholarship to West Point”. Doubts have also been raised about Carson’s claim that he was offered a full scholarship to the United States Military Academy at West Point.
Trump and Carson picked their monikers from a list of options chosen by the Secret Service, in consultation with the White House Communications Agency, a military agency in the White House.
“People say, ‘How can you be a scientist and believe that God created the Earth?'” Carson told thousands of students and visitors at Liberty University in Lynchburg. But Trump would not say who that person is, saying only that the person would be a man. “We talk about Liberty all the time”, Carson said after introducing his wife Candy, “because that’s what it represents, liberty, freedom”.

A few free advice for Ben Carson: If you think the scrutiny is too tough now, toughen up. “I think this country needs a revival”. “The veterans are treated so, so horribly”, Trump said on Fox and Friends. “People are getting away with murder”. I never saw anything like this. “I can see myself 70 years ago sitting out there, but I want to say just one thing and I’m going to sit down again”. But even as other candidates have outshined him at these forums, the famed neurosurgeon has continued to draw high favorability ratings and has risen to a commanding place at the top of the polls-challenging Donald Trump for the frontrunner position. Tuesday night did not suggest any exception to that pattern.
