One major exception to the one-freebie-only rule is Ben & Jerry’s Free Cone Day, when stores welcomes customers to come back for second helpings of free ice cream throughout the day.
April 12th marks the return of the ice cream maker’s Free Cone Day, where anyone can pop in store for a free cone of ice cream. According to the website, while the Newbury Street location will be participating in Free Cone Day, the ice cream stand near the New England Aquarium is not yet open for the season.

But really, it should be us thanking them.
If you’re passing the Odeon cinema at Freemens Park, you can pop in and collect your free cone or cup between 12 and 8pm on Tuesday.
The store was anticipating the day would be a huge success, the spokeswoman said, after the successes of their “Free Cone Night” earlier in the year.
