The new, almost two-and-a-half-minute clip prominently features Tilda Swinton as The Ancient One, Strange’s mentor, who helps transform the brilliant surgeon into the “Sorcerer Supreme”. “It’s a title and all the things the Ancient One knows and passes on, anyone can do”, Swinton said. And Marvel being the mega-franchise it is, they had a lot to show off, for both its film and TV properties.
“The truth is, anyone of us could be the Ancient One”, she told the crowd.
There was also a surprise glimpse of “Spider-Man: Homecoming“, with very early footage from the film due for release in on July 7 next year showing Peter Parker, played by Tom Holland.
Apart from these trailers, Marvel also offered details about the upcoming Black Panther movie, Thor Ragnarok, and it showed a trailer for Guardians of the Galaxy 2, which will release in 2017. Less popular, though, was the announcement that “Guardians of the Galaxy” would be overtaking the Tower of Terror ride at Disneyland starting next summer with a new ride.
Other trailers released as part of Comic-Con were for the J.K. Rowling story Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them which has Eddie Redmayne as protagonist Newt Scamander.
The new footage shows us more magical creatures and more Eddie Redmayne in the role of Newt Scamander.
Audiences also got a sneak peek at Wonder Woman, a female-led superhero film starring Gal Gadot as Diana Prince, which is set to hit theatres next year.
Directors Rick Famuyiwa, James Wan and actor Ben Affleck attend the Warner Bros.
“It’s terrifying and inspiring and really exciting because it’s one of most iconic, fascinating characters ever created in American drama”, he said.
We were first introduced to the unbreakable Luke Cage in Jessica Jones as a love interest/side character, knowing he will have his own series later this year.

“She has the heart of a human and the strength of a goddess”. Negative responses to that movie’s gloomy world plus studio pressure are likely why Snyder is straying into lighter territory with Justice League, though Snyder himself seems reluctant to admit as much. Batman accidentally adopts a son that he raises to become Robin.
