Bengals Adam Jones Says He’ll Apologize If Antonio Brown Sits Out

Roethlisberger was sacked by Cincinnati Bengals linebacker Vontaze Burfict with 38 seconds left in the third quarter of the Steelers’ dramatic 18-16 win in Saturday night’s AFC Wild Card game. He was penalized in 2014 for twisting the ankles of Panthers players, who had called for Burfict to be suspended.

The NFL decided his penalties over the course of a season merited the suspension, which can be appealed.

“Unfortunately, we earned some reputations, and we have to eliminate that by continuing to play well within the rules, the way he plays”, Lewis said.

Antonio Brown is facing a real dilemma.

Jones revealed that Brown “winked at us” before leaving the football field. ESPN’s Bob Holtzman reported Monday night, citing sources, that it’s “not looking good” that Brown will suit up for the Steelers due to his injury.

But you know and I know, that when [Sunday] gets here, all that is going out the window, man….

Jones on Saturday told NFL Network’s Michael Silver of Brown, “Man, that (expletive) was (expletive) acting. I think he need a Grammy Award for that one”.

Well, Brown responded Monday. Brown seemed to notice Jones’ mistake in saying he deserved a Grammy – a musical award – for an apparent acting job. He was unable to put any weight on his ankle as he was helped off the field and carted to the locker room.

“The (expletive) ref did a frightful (expletive) job”, Jones said in the video.

The league announced that it was still determining whether to discipline other players and coaches involved in the feisty Bengals-Steelers game, which included seven personal-foul penalties.

Jones later deleted the video and posted a calmer second video.

“I know he was faking”. “I’ve got a ton of respect for those guys”.

Steelers coach Mike Tomlin said reserve Landry Jones would spend more time preparing with the starting lineup while Roethlisberger, who may still play, is evaluated. He couldn’t give me an answer….
