Bengaluru-based CREO launches first smartphone-Mark 1, runs on FUEL OS
Echo: This is a new take on an answering machine, and doesn’t need Internet nor is it restricted to any network operator. The device comes in Gun Metal Black color option only, and is priced at Rs. 19,999 ($301) in India, and will be available through CREO’s official website (creosense.com), and via Flipkart. If you can’t answer a call, the caller will hear your pre-recorded reply and will then ask the caller to leave a message. The Retriever feature would work even if a stolen phone is factory reset. The company claims this makes your phone “un-stealable”. It’s foolproof in detecting theft and automatically triggers alerts to users’ registered email ID anytime a new SIM is inserted into the device.

One can’t help noticing that there is a lot of good going on with the Creo Mark 1 and it makes an astoundingly good first impression for a phone that’s coming from a company no-one has heard before.
The 21MP camera on the back of the device can record slow motion videos at 120 Fps, with the resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels.
CameraThe smartphone has comes equipped with an 8MP rear camera with LED flash and a 5MP front-facing camera for selfies.
The smartphone has “Retriever” – an app that never lets you lose your device. That being said, the reality may turn out to be more nuanced. Creo is hedging its hopes on the fact that if there is a feature a user wants, the user can describe it and with the OS updates, the company will be able to add it to the phone.
The device comes with multiple camera modes like Live-photo, 3D selfie, slo-mo videos and Time lapse, among other features. Creo says it will implement user ideas every month. You can also chat with the customer service by typing “CREO Support” in the aforementioned Sense. Sense also shows the service centers closest to the user’s location at that moment.
