Bentley Motors chief executive officer Wolfgang Dürheimer told CNBC, “Bentayga is truly the Bentley of SUVs”.
The 2016 Bentayga was unveiled ahead of the 2015 Frankfurt Motor show which is usually the stage where most luxury automaker presents their latest creations.
Remember, this is one that will attract the neighbors’ attention as the “the fastest, most powerful, most luxurious, most exclusive SUV in the world, ,” if it lives up Bentley’s breathless billing. The top speed is limited at 187mph, making this SUV the fastest in the segment.
The SUV also comes equipped with Bentley’s Drive Dynamics Mode as standard, with an optional Responsive Off-Road Setting, offering up to eight driving modes, plus a computer-controlled, adjustable air springs with four ride heights, and many electric aids such as Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC) with Stop & Go, Predictive ACC, Traffic Assist and Park Assist. The price of this luxury sports utility vehicle has been let out by Bentley.
The body of the 2017 Bentayga is made out of aluminum and is based on the Major League Baseball platform by Volkswagen.
Once inside the auto, customers will find the refinement and the luxury of the Bentley to be mesmerizing. Think of it as the ideal storage spot for your bottles of Dom Perignon. The interiors come in dual colour scheme with plush leather covered seats as well as the steering wheel and gear knob. Rear passengers get a dedicated Android tablet spot, as well as ventilation and massage options for their seats.
Comfort customization options, for the inside, include 15 ways to adjust the seats.
And as you’d expect from a Bentley, the interior is finished in sumptuous leather, with a choice of seven different veneers.
