Multiple Clinton aides confirmed to CNN that the former president will start headlining events for the campaign in January, including solo events without his presidential candidate wife. “Obviously we are not going to do that”. During the debate, Hillary deflected persistent attacks from Senator Bernie Sanders of Vermont and former governor Martin O’Malley of Maryland over gun control, Wall Street and foreign military entanglements.

The third Democratic presidential debate opened with an apology and ended with compliments.

She said his inflammatory anti-Muslim rhetoric was driving hordes of would-be Islamic militants into the arms of ISIS, or Daesh, according to the USA Today.

Though there were moments of tension over national security in Saturday night’s debate, Sanders failed to score a clear hit on Clinton. She pointed out that as Secretary of State under President Obama, she advocated that the USA arm what it deemed the moderate opposition, “because I anxious we would end up exactly where we are now”, Clinton said.

“I’m running for president because I’m going to create an economy that works for working families, not just a handful of billionaires”, Sanders said.

“On numerous occasions, she deflected debate jabs, pointing out that the three Democrats on stage would all be superior to any Republican candidate”, he said.

She also went on the offensive against Sanders, accusing him of hypocrisy for supporting regime change in Libya when he had voted in the Senate for a non-binding resolution that called on Gaddafi to resign and support a peaceful transition to democracy.

Bernie Sanders: I think, and I say this straight-forwardly, I think you have a pathological liar there. “We run – we let Iran become – it’s a terror nation, and we let Iran become really powerful”, Trump said. “We are already de-conflicting air space”.

Hillary Clinton’s communications director defended her candidate’s claim that ISIS is using videos of Donald Trump to recruit members, but could not point to specific evidence of this happening in an interview on “This Week with George Stephanopoulos” Sunday.

On Friday, news had broken of a Sanders staffer being fired after accessing a proprietary precinct of the data base maintained by the Democratic National Committee.

“ISIL training videos are telling lone wolves the easiest way to buy a combat assault weapon in America is at a gun show, and it’s because of the flip-flopping political approach of Washington that both of my two colleagues on the stage have represented there for the last 40 years”, O’Malley said. Their argument is bolstered by the fact that Sanders was not informed about the data breach until 24 hours after it happened when Wasserman Schultz called him to discuss the matter.
