Bernie Rescues Hillary: ‘Tired of Hearing About Your Damn Emails’

Ms Clinton has been under fire for using a private computer server for work emails while in office.

Clinton was given a chance to respond, which she turned down with an emphatic: “No”.

“Thank you, Bernie”, she said, smiling broadly and shaking hands warmly with the us senator from Vermont amid enthusiastic applause. I love Denmark. We are the United States of America. “I do look at what’s happening in the world”.

“I voted against it. It wasn’t that complicated to me”, she said.

“Do I consider myself part of the casino capitalist process by which so few have so much and so many have so little, by which Wall Street’s greed and recklessness wrecked this economy?” Chafee noted he had “no scandals” during his political career; Webb said he was not co-opted by the political system. She spoke out in opposition to the Keystone XL pipeline, which the Obama administration has been considering since Clinton’s tenure at the State Department.

The moderators will ask Sanders multiple questions about his self-description as a democratic socialist, and why he didn’t defend capitalism in a recent TV appearance.

Mrs. Clinton was referencing a meeting at an worldwide climate-change summit in Copenhagen in 2009 during which the US delegation – led by Mr. Obama and then-Secretary Clinton – tracked down Chinese leaders for an impromptu discussion on global-warming policy.

“And it’s time the entire country stands up against the NRA”, she added.

The Politico piece also reported on a conversation between Clinton and a supporter in which the former Secretary of State admitted the email controversy was one of two main problems she is having in her campaign.

The only candidate on stage who challenged Clinton on her email practices was Chafee, who said “credibility is an issue”.

O’Malley, the former governor of Maryland, takes the mic next. That debate, hosted by CNBC, will be their third.

O’Malley warned of a deep crisis of “economic injustice that threatens to tear our country apart”. He sought to stress his experience on military issues and foreign policy.

Clinton had a pithy response: “We are not in Denmark”.

“Putin is not feeling too nervous or scared,” he said.

Sanders, Clinton’s top rival in this race, seemingly came to her defense.

The next Democratic presidential candidate debate is scheduled for Saturday, November 14 in Des Moines, Iowa.

“After the election (in 2008) he asked me to become secretary of state. But I don’t think it’s going to be a debate that largely is one of name calling, it’s going to be one that is substantive”, Podesta said.

The biggest focus will be on Clinton and Sanders, who are polling the highest.

Republicans have already held two fiery debates dominated by the presence of Donald Trump.

“Who knows, maybe a star will be born (unlikely)”, Trump wrote shortly before the debate was to begin. “We will all have fun and hopefully learn something tonight”. If they were Republicans, they’d be relegated to the undercard, debating other margin-of-error candidates at dinnertime.

Sanders will be joined at the debate by his wife, Jane, and two of his children, Levy and David, his campaign spokesman Michael Briggs said. Bernie Sanders outline a plan to break up big banks. Watch Elex Michaelson’s live report in Las Vegas with details on the debate in the video above.
