Bernie Sanders delegates may contest Tim Kaine VP nomination
Clinton delivers her acceptance speech to Democratic National Convention delegates Thursday night. The two are preparing to accept the democratic nominee at the Democratic National Convention in Philadelphia beginning Monday. That makes clear that DNC Chairwoman Debbie Wasserman Schultz will not act in that capacity; under party rules, the DNC head acts as temporary chair until a new one is voted in.

While her ouster was a major victory for Sanders, it wasn’t enough to ease the frustration of his supporters. The correspondence, posted by WikiLeaks over the weekend, showed top officials at the supposedly neutral DNC favoring Clinton over Sanders in the presidential primaries. “He’s a very nice guy”, Sanders said on NBC’s “Meet The Press”. Kaine was a finalist eight years ago in President Obama’s vice presidential search, and he had endorsed the then-Illinois senator early on. Over three-fourths of African-Americans and Hispanics already say they will vote for Hillary Clinton, while Donald Trump can’t even clear 10 percent with African-Americans or 20 percent with Latinos (recent polls show Trump with 0 percent of the black vote in OH and Pennsylvania). Ted Cruz, refused to endorse the billionaire businessman.
Trump appeared to relish in the Democratic chaos Sunday, writing, “The Dems Convention is cracking up”.
You see, Donald Trump likes to tell people to “believe” he’ll get things done, but he never shows them how he’ll do that. Referring to Trump’s penchant for tweeting, she said of the presidency: “It can not be boiled down to 140 characters”.
Sanders did his part, imploring his supporters to consider a country under Trump’s leadership. Senior Democrats and former national security figures lined up in Philadelphia on Wednesday to describe Trump as unable to steer America through the risky waters of today’s world.
But the congresswoman had hoped to still fulfill her official duties in Philadelphia, taking the stage to gavel the convention in and out – scenarios that became untenable by midday Monday. Other high-profile speakers include former President Bill Clinton and Vice President Joe Biden. Hinojosa said he even personally sent a text message to Kaine congratulating him on being selected as Hillary Clinton’s running mate.
“Brothers and sisters, this is the real world that we live in”, Sanders said as he tried to quiet the crowd.
Some Texans expressed their support for Kaine to KXAN.
Clinton’s campaign manager, Robby Mook, tried to shift blame for the email hack away from DNC officials and onto “Russian state actors” who, he said, may have breached DNC computers “for the goal of helping Donald Trump”, the Republican presidential nominee.
How the emails were stolen hasn’t been confirmed.
New Jersey also might have been on Trump’s mind because its current governor, Republican Chris Christie, was among Trump’s finalists for the vice presidential nod that ultimately went to Indiana Gov. Mike Pence.
The swing comes days after Clinton tapped Sen.

The Democratic National Committee has released a slightly trimmed list of superdelegates – those are the party officials who can back any candidate.
