Bernie Sanders: DNC Emails ‘Outrageous’ But ‘Not A Shock’
The leaked emails included one where Wasserman Schultz referred to a top Sanders campaign aide as a “damn liar” and another where a party official suggested the Vermont senator’s religious beliefs should be questioned.

“It’s what we talked about six months ago”, Sanders continued.
Democratic National Committee chairperson Debbie Wasserman Schultz will not be making any speeches nor will she preside at her party’s convention in Philadelphia this week, according to a report.
Democratic National Committee chair Congresswoman Debbie Wasserman Schultz speaks at a press conference promoting the endorsement of David Wecht, Kevin Dougherty, and Christine Donohue for Pennsylvania Supreme Court, and Heather Arnet for State Senate, Thursday, Oct. 15, 2015, in Pittsburgh.
Hillary Clinton’s campaign manager Sunday accused the Russians of releasing internal emails to help Republican Donald Trump win the presidential election.
“This could make several points difference with my peeps”.
At South Station early Sunday, the Bay State Democrats, many wearing Clinton-themed buttons and “Bay State 4 Hillary” T-shirts, praised the former First Lady’s legislative experience and progressive credentials, contrasting them with Clinton’s opponent from the Republican Party, billionaire businessman Donald Trump.
Wasserman Schultz announced her resignation in a statement Sunday afternoon, saying she remains committed to seeing Clinton elected president. The remaining 4,051 are pledged delegates, won by the candidates based on the results of state primaries and caucuses.
Things became worse as hacked emails revealed that a Democratic National Committee official questioned Sanders’ heritage and that the national party was not keen on Sanders’ continued campaign.
Neither a spokesperson for the DNC nor Hillary Clinton’s campaign immediately responded to a request for comment from Business Insider on Sunday morning.
NY delegate and Sanders supporter Arthur Cheliotes spoke of the need for the party to come together, as they head towards the general election.
The emails show that after the furor over the voter records was resolved, hostility simmered from top DNC officials over the Sanders campaign.
“We should never let Donald Trump anywhere near the White House”, she said in another CNN appearance later in the week.
“I was definitely disappointed, but it was a long shot and he got a lot farther than anyone expected he would get”, said Burns, who works for the city’s elderly commission. Miera for Clinton, Mukherjee for Sanders.

With the level of corruption and issues we have seen with Debbie Wasserman Schultz, it’s absolutely shocking that she has not yet been removed from her position. Yet, over ther weekend Mr Marshall apologised on Facebook, saying: “I deeply regret that my insensitive, emotional emails would cause embarrassment to the DNC, the Chairwoman, and all of the staffers who worked hard to make the primary a fair and open process”.
