Bernie Sanders earns first endorsement from current senator

Bernie Sanders touted his support for striking telecom workers at a star-studded rally in New York City’s Washington Square Park on Wednesday night, less than a week out from New York state’s primary vote. The NBC/Marist poll was conducted from April 5 through April 9, and surveyed 775 likely Democratic primary voters and 368 likely Republican primary voters. Clinton’s lead is down from 55-34 percent on March 7 among registered Democrats likely to vote. Ninety-five delegates are available in the Democratic race, while 38 are at stake on the Republican side. The margin of error for the Democrats is +/- 3.5%, and +/- 5.1% for the Republicans.
