Bernie Sanders Endorsed by Deez Nuts
Deez Nuts, the 15-year-old Iowa boy whose fake third-party presidential campaign has gone viral, has endorsed Ohio Gov. John Kasich for the GOP nomination.

Deez Nuts filed paperwork with the FEC in July. Olson still is espousing that he should be voted for in the general election, but has different feelings about the primary, according to his Facebook page, and as reported by Raw Story.
The Guardian, The Hill, Rolling Stone, and other outlets all picked up on the story that Deez Nuts received 9% of the independent vote in the most recent North Carolina poll.
Those numbers are in the single digits, of course. Some believe it’s simply because it’s so out of the ordinary, but others believe that someone young and unjaded may actually be the best person for the job. Deez Nuts could turn out to be a kingmaker. Regarding the latter, the Bernie Sanders campaign should be relieved.
“Just gonna throw this out there now”.
When asked via email why he backed Sanders for the nomination, Mr. Nuts responded, “Because he nearly completely agrees on me with social issues and even some on fiscal issues”. Asked whether he thought his endorsement would make a difference one way or another: “Not really“. Endorsements from GOP governors have been rare so far in the race for the 2016 nomination, since the party has such a crowded field.

Google search interest in “Deez Nuts” has surpassed interest in the term “Hillary Clinton”, Google reported Friday, and he’s held his own against both Clinton and Donald Trump on the search engine as well. As for the general election: “I endorse myself”. All good questions. I’ve reached out to the Sanders campaign for their comment on the endorsement but have yet to hear anything back.
