Mrs Clinton, 68, hopes the joint appearance will help her win over Mr Sanders’ supporters, some of whom carried his signs into the rally and frequently drowned out her backers.
His supporters have largely made a decision to support Mrs Clinton in an effort to stop presumptive Republican nominee Donald Trump from winning the White House.
“We are stronger together”, Clinton said.
Trump, weeks ago, had urged Sanders to run as a third-party candidate.
Hillary Clinton waited months to hear those words-an endorsement from former rival, Bernie Sanders. “Democrats are united to support Hillary Clinton because she will fight for our values”, Agre said. “I have come here today not to talk about the past, but to focus on the future”, he said, a future will be shaped by what happens in voting booths on November 8th, when Americans go to vote.
“Secretary Clinton has won the Democratic nominating process, and I congratulate her for that”, Sanders told a cheering crowd in New Hampshire with Clinton at his side.
Sanders chose to endorse Clinton on Tuesday after he had worked to push more progressive policy in the official Democratic platform.
Bernie Sanders finally endorsed Hillary Clinton for president. Elizabeth Warren, both of whom are wildly popular among Democrats.
“CBS This Morning” host Gayle King asked Sanders on June 24, 2016, why he hadn’t endorsed Hillary Clinton.
“In these stressful times for our country, this election must be about bringing our people together, not dividing us up”, Sanders said.
