Bernie Sanders “feeling quite good” after Nevada loss
Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton has been projected to be the victor of Saturday’s Nevada caucuses as she led by a 52-48 margin with 78 percent of precincts reporting.

Clinton scored a decisive victory in Nevada regardless of who won the Hispanic vote. She said the truth is that the USA isn’t a single-issue country. Mr Robert Shrum, a longtime strategist for presidential campaigns, said with the Nevada win, “most Democrats will conclude – again – that she will be the nominee”.
Entrance polls show Clinton netted 76 percent support of the black vote – a firewall for her in the next primary Saturday in SC.
Repeating the pattern of Iowa and New Hampshire, Nevada exit polls showed that younger voters tilted heavily toward Sanders.
By those numbers, Clinton won 74 percent of the support of voters 65 and older, as well as 61 percent among people 45 to 64. And her ability to connect with African-American voters and Latino voters is significant because they are the future of the Democratic Party.
The Washington Post said Clinton had an early advantage because of her on-the-ground organization early in 2015. And so I think that for her staff, you know, Bernie Sanders was there in the rearview mirror and getting closer. I’m going to demonstrate that I’ve always been the same person, fighting for the same values … long before I was ever in elected office, even before my husband was in the presidency.
More than two dozen Democratic state legislators, including many African Americans, have endorsed Clinton. As Sanders pointed out, he was never the favorite to win in Nevada.
Clinton leads Sanders 68 percent to 21 percent among S.C. black Democratic voters, according to a NBC News/Wall Street Journal/Marist poll released last week.
Huerta, who has endorsed Clinton, called out Sanders in a post on Medium this week for voting for bills and deportation programs that he has since criticized.
At the beginning of 2016, Sanders started pushing resources at the state, launching offices, calling on voters and more.
“I really believe this from my heart of hearts: obviously we are here to win and hope to win”. And he said he thought it was going be close, but he said I’d rather be us than them right now, which now we know why he said that.
Sanders said in a statement Saturday that he congratulated Clinton on her victory.

Majority of Sanders’ supporters identified as Independent, but Sanders appealed more to liberals while Clinton appealed to more moderates. And we will continue to work hard to make that case and to win over as many voters as possible to get the nomination.
