New running mates Hillary Clinton and Tim Kaine will hit the road for a 3-day bus tour through Pennsylvania and OH after the Democratic National Convention, according to a campaign aide.

Asked if he is ready to be president, Kaine said: “I’m ready first to be a supportive vice president so that the presidency of Hillary Clinton is is a fantastic one”.
“I like Tim Kaine on a personal level”, said Kate Miller, a Sanders delegate from the Buffalo suburb of Hamburg who works as a research scientist at the University of Buffalo Research Institute on Addictions. “Yeah, they are. He’s more conservative than I am”.

Bernie Sanders criticized Kaine, a former Virginia governor and former mayor of Richmond, as not liberal enough for progressive Democrats.
“We knew they were stacking the deck against Bernie from the get-go, but this type of stuff coming out is outrageous”, he said.
Many former Bernie Sanders supporters wish she’d picked someone more liberal. “The constitution says no religious tests so that is just absolutely wrong and unacceptable”.
Can Kaine convince disillusioned Republicans to vote Democrat? “America’s best days are still ahead of us, my friends”, Clinton said during a campaign event Saturday in Miami.
The self-inflicted wounds could hamper the Clinton campaign’s effort to portray the party’s convention in a different light from the just-concluded Republican gathering in Cleveland.

Introducing Kaine as her VP pick in another swing state, Florida, while highlighting his fluency in Spanish and support for immigration reform, was calculated by the Clinton camp to target Latinos and set out the differences with Donald Trump’s anti-immigrant proposals.
