Bernie Sanders: I was Right on Iraq War, ‘Hillary Clinton Was Wrong’

And it’s not just young women.

There were more than 1,200 people inside Great Bay Community College to hear Bernie Sanders speak – and in 50 minutes, that crowd erupted into boisterous cheering and applause 74 times. “I think she would be very vulnerable”. “She’s actually warm…. I wish I could bottle that up and give it to everyone outside of New Hampshire, because they don’t get to see it like we do”. “But we are now talking about electing the president of the United States, and people should make their decision based on who they think can do the job best”, Sanders said.

As her supporters are quick to note, Clinton’s current drive for the White House will continue no matter what the results on Tuesday.

And Clinton slammed Sanders and his backers for derisively labeling opponents as part of the “establishment” when they disagree. She and her husband support Sanders so strongly that they changed their original March move-in date to January just so they could cast their ballots for him. According to Real Clear Politics’ polling data, Clinton is polling 15.2 points behind Sanders among New Hampshire primary voters. Clinton remains the more well-rounded Democratic candidate – but issues of trust linger.

The accusations by Warren that she changed her vote are not new.

“I believe he will have the resources to push this campaign well into the spring and we recognize this”, Clinton campaign manager Robby Mook told reporters this week.

The day before, Steinem dismissed women who support Sanders as empty-headed boy-chasers.

Sanders has often said his campaign is about “a political revolution” to restore power to middle class, working and poor Americans.

As the campaign announced Hillary Clinton would campaign in MI over the weekend, a sign she was already looking past New Hampshire, Clinton’s pollster, Joel Benenson, declared Friday: “Our goal here is to get close”.

The former president has been ramping up criticism of Vermont Sen.

Sen. Amy Klobuchar of Minnesota reminded that same group of “how important this historical moment is for us”.

But other attempts to court young women voters have not gone so well.

The former secretary of state said she planned to visit Flint, Michigan – the city embroiled in a contaminated water controversy – later in the week.

He described a progressive blogger who wrote a favorable column about the former secretary of state but was compelled to post it under a pseudonym out of fear of blowback from Sanders proponents. Sanders and Clinton just went at it, which led to a more heated debate than previous ones.

“You want somebody that values all of your principles and the morals that you stand for”, said Greaves during an interview with CNN’s Brooke Baldwin.

The Democratic front-runner said would have preferred to come to Flint for a different reason.

While Sanders has outpaced Clinton among white women here, he has yet to show any strength among a more diverse pool of women.

Before Clinton arrived, Pastor Kenneth Stewart told his congregation that hope is alive in Flint.

Sanders has touted his “100% Planned Parenthood voting record”, and likened his grassroots campaign to the struggle for women’s rights. Young women, in particular, have been drawn to the septuagenarian socialist from Vermont, and the dynamic has disappointed feminists who dreamed of Clinton’s election as a capstone to the movement.

Anything that suggests she didn’t do that – or didn’t only do that – presents a major issue for her. “Look, anybody who is supporting me who is doing sexist things … we don’t want them”. “But that’s the generational divide and it’s led to creating a narrative about who is more feminist, Bernie Sanders or Hillary Clinton”.
